Would I Survive No Internet for a Whole Month?

Can anyone, of the current generation, survive without the Internet nowadays? I don’t know. But if you ask me, the answer is plain simple NO.

No. Not for a month. If there is no Internet there is no work. If there is no work there is boredom. If there is boredom and nothing else to do, then one should die. But, I want to live a little longer.

  1. But since I belong to the Pager generation, surviving without the Internet for a month seems tolerable, although surviving without the books I have not already read, is quite bothering. Imagine a Writer or Inventor or just any Man Of Imagination confined to jail, with Internet but without pen and paper and not even allowed to scratch on the floors and walls with his spoon. He would come out a changed man ever so slightly, but changed he will be.
Before the Internet days an Israeli called Mordekhai Vanunu wanted to tell the world about Israel’s A-Programme and had photographs which he took with him to Europe after escaping Israel. But he was kidnapped by Israel before publication, and put in solitary confinement for many years. When a BBC correspondent met him much later, he spoke of Mr. Vanunu being a generally silent man, his hands very still.
